Team Guidelines

TEAM GUIDELINES

As a member of the Christian Life Church Media Team, your sacrifice of time and talent is a valuable contribution to our ministry, which impacts our church family and community with the love of Christ. To make the most effective use of your efforts and for the smoothest operation of our Team, you are asked to follow these simple guidelines.

  • Be to each event/service at least 15 minutes ahead of time. (This is so you can be in the best way prepared for the area in which you will be serving when the event/service gets underway.)

    • On Sunday mornings, you need to be at the service at 9:45 a.m. We will have a brief meeting for planning and prayer before the service starts.

  • Dress appropriately .

    • Wear your media team shirt or dark colours, such as black, brown, or navy. (Bright colours can be distracting and draw too much attention to yourself during the event or service. We want to be as unobtrusive as possible. An exception would be if we have an outdoor event, when something light coloured might be more appropriate.)

    • Ladies. do not wear tight/revealing clothes.

    • Men, do not dress sloppily.

    • Be well groomed for a positive reflection on Christ and the Church.

  • Please do not sign up for a date unless you are sure you can participate. (If you do not show up or are involved in something else, this can be very disruptive to the flow of the event/service and cause confusion and difficulty for the rest of the team.)

    • If you cannot make it to an event you signed up for, will be running late, or must leave early, please contact Jennifer Simms or Philip Butler right away.

  • Be cooperative with Team Leaders/Members and do not engage in disruptive behaviour during events/service.

    • Do not talk loudly during events

    • Do not eave your spot without proper communication with other Team Members, especially the person you serving with at that particular spot, such as the Main Camera.

    • Do not sleep during services.

  • No Camera Operators may loiter in the Sound Booth during events/services. Only the two Media Team Members assigned to the Graphics Display are allowed in the Booth. Camera Operators must take their designated seats at the start of the service so that they do not loose them.
